FAQ
How do I move from Pushover?
Point your requests to api.pushbell.app/1/messages.json and use the 30-character Pushover-compatible key from the dashboard. Parameters and responses are the same; the receipt, group and widget endpoints work too.
Are notifications lost when I hit my quota?
No. By default they are held; you can also bill overage or use a top-up pack. Emergency alerts always go through.
Which devices are supported?
iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets; Mac, Windows and Linux; Chrome, Edge, Firefox and other browsers; Apple Watch and Wear OS. On Android TV it opens as a shop screen.
Can I notify my customers?
Yes. Create a subscription link; your customer subscribes in the PushBell app and you get a key just for your project. They can unsubscribe at any time.
Do I need to write code?
No. Paste the URL PushBell gives you into the webhook settings of services like Shopify and WooCommerce, or forward emails to your PushBell address.
