Emergency notifications

A notification sent with priority: 2 repeats until someone taps Acknowledge:

{
"title": "Payments are down",
"message": "The Stripe webhook has been failing for 5 minutes",
"priority": 2,
"retry": 60,
"expire": 3600,
"tags": ["payments"],
"callback": "https://example.com/pushbell/ack",
"escalation": [{ "after": 300, "to": ["g_team…"] }]
}
  • retry: the repeat interval (at least 30 s), expire: when the repeats stop. At most 50 repeats are sent.
  • escalation: if nobody acknowledges within the given time, it’s also sent to the next people / groups.
  • The response has a receipt. Check its status with GET /v1/receipts/{receipt}, stop it with POST /v1/receipts/{receipt}/cancel, and cancel every emergency notification with a tag with POST /v1/receipt-tags/{tag}/cancel.
  • When someone acknowledges, the repeats stop, the alarm on the other devices goes quiet and a signed request is sent to the callback address (webhook signature).
